Day 1
We check-in at Sabiha Gökçen Airport Pegasus Counter at 05:30 a.m. and arrive at Mardin Airport at 06:20 a.m. with a flight departing from Sabiha Gökçen. We meet at Mardin Airport with our guide and vehicle waiting for you, our valued guests, and travel to Mardin for breakfast. We check into our hotel and immediately begin our tour. Our first stop is the Deyrulzafaran monastery, which has served as the Central Patriarch of all Assyrians in the world for the past 650 years. Then, after leaving the endlessness of the Mesopotamian plain behind us, we arrive at the ancient city of Dara, which we refer to as the region's Ephesus. We get detailed information from our guide by visiting the Necrepol area, huge water channels, underground water cisterns, the city's agora, and stone bridges. After taking souvenir photos with the city's beautiful children and continuing our tour along the historic Silk Road, we leave here taking souvenir photos with the city's beautiful children. The Beyazsu valley, where ice-cold water flows, will be our next stop. We take a lunch break at the edge of a stream, where we put our feet in the water and rest while eating. After the meal, we travel to Midyat to explore the city's historical streets before taking a break. Here, our guests can purchase Syriac wines. We'll go to Mor Gabriel Monastery in our free time. We have dinner, this time with a rich menu of Mardin cuisine. We continue our evening following the options we will provide you after the meal. (In addition, there is a Mardin Sira Night or a Wine Tasting Night.)
Day 2
We continue our tour with all the excitement after breakfast at our hotel in the morning. We begin our Boutique Mardin Tour on foot after breakfast. Our guests can purchase local foods and items such as Blue Almond from the shops along the road if they so desire. Kasimiye Madrasa, one of the largest educational centers of its time, will be visited for the first time during our tour. We take a nice walk through the historical Mardin streets after a detailed madrasa tour, and you will feel like you are in a time tunnel. We go to the Kiriklar church, the Mardin museum, the Protestant church of Latifiye, the Ulu Mosque, and the bazaar with a portico. We will spend the afternoon and take a short break for lunch (extra). After the lunch break, we go to the old PTT building, the Sabanci museum, and the historical Abbara passages to learn more. Following that, we give our valued guests free time to relax and relieve the stress of the day. Following the free time, we travel to Diyarbakir Airport and fly back to Istanbul, concluding our tour with a 20:30 flight. I look forward to seeing you on another tour.
